MD-90 Product Support
We have prepared this page to provide you with convenient, one-stop support for your
MD-90 aircraft.
All of the official Jet City Aircraft updates, documentation, add-ons, and repaints can be found right here.
If you need additional support for this product, please go to our Contact Us page by selecting the icon in the navigation bar at the
top of this page.
For those individuals interested in repainting our aircraft, we have prepared a repainter support area at the Jet City
Forums in addition to the information provided below.
Since we allow third party repainting of our aircraft, it
is likely that you may also find additional MD-90 repaints at free flight simulation file libraries such as AVSIM.
Please remember that those files are not supported by Jet City Aircraft, so any
issues or questions you may have about them need to be addressed with the author of those files, not us.
Product Updates and Enhancements
The MD-80 and MD-90 package was updated on May 31, 2005. The new version 2.0
includes updates to all MD-80 and MD-90 visual models and updated flight
dynamics. If you downloaded the package before May 31, 2005, we recommend you
download and install the updated 2.0 package.
Existing software unlock keys are fully compatible with the repackaged versions.
Documentation, Manuals and Checklists
MD-80 and MD-90 Readme File: This is the
same file that is included with the MD-90 download or CD. Please read this short document completely
before installing or flying the aircraft. You can view the file online in Adobe Acrobat PDF format by

How To Fly the MD-90: This document contains a brief tutorial on flying the airplane, and includes aircraft
limitations, speed charts, and cockpit checklists as well. You can view the file online in Adobe Acrobat PDF format by

Product Compatibility Files
Lago MadDog 2004 users:
This aircraft is compatible with the Lago MadDog 2004 panel and sounds
using a convenient merge application that is available for download. The Lago
virtual cockpit is currently not compatible with this airplane. Before you
download the merge application, it is very important that you
read
the documentaion. Once you have read the documentation, you can
download the file by
clicking here. NOTE: This merge application
will work with all Jet City MD-80 and MD-90 aircraft, not just the MD-90, so you
only need to download this file one time. This merge application will only work
with MadDog patched to version 1.51.
Flight Simulator 2004 users: This aircraft is designed and optimized for use within Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of
Flight and does not require any modifications.
Flight Simulator 2002 users: The MD-90 performs quite well within this simulator and features all the same bells and
whistles as it does in FS2004. No patches or updates are needed to use this plane in FS2002.
Repainting This Aircraft / Third Party Repaints
Repainter Pack: We welcome you to repaint
our MD-90 aircraft! You can download our
Repainter Pack
which includes our Repaint Policy, a set of blank aircraft textures, layered PSD
files, a sample text file to include with your repainted textures should you
upload them, and some tips to help you through the whole process. You can also
visit the Jet City Forums for additional assistance or to share screen shots of
your repaints.
Official Jet City Aircraft Repaints
We have chosen to provide our aircraft repaints as individual downloads rather
than include them in the main aircraft package. In addition to reducing the size
of the package download, this also provides you with the freedom to download only
the ones you want, when
you want. Furthermore, it allows us to easily add additional repaints at any time, too, so we can continue to support the
product well after it's release.
To improve page loading time, and to help you identify the newest additions, we have sorted our repaints by upload date.
Simply click on the links below and a new window will appear allowing you to view the repaints.
You can view a screenshot of each aircraft by clicking on the airline logos, or you can always find screenshots of all of our planes at the Jet
City Forums. To download any of the repaints for the MD-90, simply click on the download links.
Installation instructions are included with each repaint to assist you.
